A proud graduate of West Virginia University, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing and has spent more than 41 years devoted to advancing patient care.
Throughout her career, Lori has built a rich and diverse clinical foundation in Family Practice, Cardiology, and Electrophysiology. Over time, she discovered her true passion: Functional Medicine. This whole‑person approach allows her to blend compassionate care with evidence‑informed strategies that look beyond symptoms to uncover root causes.
Today, Lori specializes in thyroid management, perimenopausal and menopausal hormone replacement for women, testosterone replacement for men, metabolic health and a patient‑focused weight‑loss program designed to support sustainable, whole‑body wellness.

Cheva Ising, RN, MSN, CPC, is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of healthcare experience and a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Leadership and Research and a Certified Professional Coder. For more than 13 years, she has worked in the wellness and population health space, helping individuals improve their health through preventive care, education, and evidence-based strategies.
At our practice, Cheva plays an integral role in our GLP-1 and Weight Management Program. She partners with patients throughout their wellness journey by providing lifestyle coaching, nutritional education, and ongoing support to help build sustainable habits that lead to lasting results. Drawing from the latest clinical research and best practices in functional medicine, she is passionate about empowering patients to understand the “why” behind their health and equipping them with practical tools to achieve their goals.
Cheva believes that meaningful, lasting change begins with education, personalized care, and addressing the root causes of health concerns, not just the symptoms. She also practices every word she teaches on.

Carrie McClure, RN, MSN, APHN, NP-S, is a registered nurse with over 25 years of diverse healthcare experience and is passionate about helping patients uncover the root causes of their health concerns. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Public Health.Throughout her career, Carrie has earned certifications spanning multiple specialties, including neonatology, lactation, school nursing, health science education, research, aesthetic nurse injecting, and gastrointestinal health. Her broad clinical background allows her to provide compassionate, evidence-informed care while looking at the whole person rather than simply treating symptoms.
Carrie’s passion for functional medicine began through a deeply personal journey. Watching her mother battle multiple autoimmune illnesses inspired her to look beyond symptom management and seek the underlying causes of chronic disease. That experience continues to shape her compassionate, investigative approach to patient care.
Carrie has a special interest in gut health, inflammation, autoimmune conditions, metabolic wellness, and helping patients restore balance through personalized lifestyle, nutrition, and targeted supplement recommendations. She believes that educating and empowering patients is one of the most important parts of the healing journey.
Outside of work, Carrie is a proud military wife, devoted mom, and animal lover who enjoys spending time with her family and her beloved fur babies. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside her patients as they work toward better health and lasting wellness.

Angie Clark, NR-CMA II, has been in the Cardiology field for 24 years - 14 of those years in private practice and 10 of those years at Charleston Area Medical Center. Angie has experience as both a Medical Assistant and Administrator.
As a Medical Assistant, Angie is often the first person a patient sees. Angie prides herself in helping patients feel welcome and supported, easing their concerns, and making their cardiology visit a pleasant experience. Angie believes that each day is different, as each patient has a unique set of experiences and needs.
Outside of work, Angie enjoys mountain biking, hiking, reading, cooking and taking care of her two dachshunds, Oakie and Beanie.
